Public BBQ

A well-built bike park at Bicton with four difficulty levels, catering to mountain bikers, dirt jumpers and BMX riders from beginners through to advanced. The pump track is the best of it and the black jumps are genuinely fun. There is plenty of shade, a park close by with swings and grass, and barbecues, so it works for a family outing as much as a session. The surface is the problem: limestone was used throughout and has not held up, leaving the jump section rutted and holed and parts of the blue trail broken, with some riders now calling those sections unrideable. Avoid it after rain, and arrive early to beat the crowds.

You should first check with Melville council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
